Important Update: Official Tournament Registration

Date:  8 April 2024

Dear Duelists,

We have a change to announce, regarding official tournament registration.

From July 2024, Duelists will only be able to register using the ID as displayed in the NEURON (Smartphone App). By this date, we will phase out KCGN ID Cards (formerly; COSSY Card).

For those of you who have been using NEURON until now, you will have seen the continued improvements to tournament functionality, such as being able to submit your deck list for the tournaments you’ve been competing in. In addition to this, it will also add additional protection to your personal data.

Please see below further information below:

To register for Future Events:

  1. Make sure you have NEURON
Neuron is available on the App Store and Google Play
  2. Make sure you have linked your account
Navigate into the Data section of the app, click on Konami ID/Card Game ID.

2.1 If you do see “Change Nickname” and “Edit account details”, you have already linked your account

2.2 If you see “Link to Konami ID” and “Register new Konami ID”, you have not linked your account.

  • If you have a Konami ID, select this option to link your account.
  • If you do not have a Konami ID, click this button to create one
  1. We recommend you register ensure you have included your details in your KONAMI account.
This may be required to claim tournament entry (such as events which require qualification), and claim tournament prizing.
This may be used for prize shipping

Ensure you only enter with 1 ID for events.
Some tournaments may require you to be able to present the correct ID to claim entry (such as the World Championship Qualifier), or award points (such as events which award World Qualifying Points). It is important that you use only 1 ID when entering events, as it will not be possible to combine points from July 2024 earned over multiple accounts.
We recommend if you always link to your Konami ID.

Thank you for your support of the Yu‑Gi‑Oh! TRADING CARD GAME.
