CELEBRATE 25 YEARS OF THE YU-GI-OH! CARD GAME WITH A SPECIAL EVENT: THE DUELING FESTIVAL

The Yu‑Gi‑Oh! card game is celebrating its 25th anniversary in February 2024, and Germany is marking the occasion with a special event: The Dueling Festival.

Taking place on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 February at the Pyramid in Mainz, the Dueling Festival will offer a variety of fun activities for fans of all ages and backgrounds. For casual and competitive Yu‑Gi‑Oh! TRADING CARD GAME (TCG) players, there are tournaments to take part in, the latest products to buy, Yu‑Gi‑Oh! TCG demonstrations for beginners, and more. 

The tournaments will include formats not usually offered at public events including “Only Normal Monsters,” “No Extra Deck” and “Given Structure Deck.” Players can win to earn Star Chips, which can be exchanged for amazing prizes – and if they’ve collected enough, they can participate on Sunday in the Main Event, where the winner will receive a special Oversized Card.

The Dueling Festival is also specially designed for families, with plenty of fun to be had and lots of different stops for children of all ages. Among other things they can learn the Yu‑Gi‑Oh! TCG, show their talents at the Yu‑Gi‑Oh! TCG memory game, and even explore ball pits. If they take part in all the different activities in the Fun Area, they can receive a special Goodie Bag.

The Dueling Festival will run from 10am to 6pm on Saturday 24 February and 10am-4pm on Sunday 25 February in the Pyramid in Mainz (Nikolaus-Kopernikus-Straße 17, 55129 Mainz). It’s Time to Duel!
