INTRODUCTION:
Time Wizard is an alternate format, available for local tournaments that are offered by Official Tournament Stores (OTS), designed to encourage Duelists to enjoy the full history of the Yu‑Gi‑Oh! TRADING CARD GAME (TCG).
The format is primarily intended to be fun and casual, rather than being competitive, allowing Duelists different ways to enjoy participating in Yu‑Gi‑Oh! TCG tournaments.
To find out where Time Wizard tournaments are happening near you, utilise our NEURON support app, navigate to Tournaments, and select “Local – Time Wizard”. This will show you upcoming Time Wizard Events.
You can also find a release list via our Official Card Database.
BASIC RULES:
Time Wizard tournaments require the OTS to select a period in time to host the event. The Forbidden & Limited List, available card pool, and game rules and mechanics are then made to match that selected period.
To find out where Time Wizard is rewinding your tournament to, the name of the event will contain the date that the event would be hosted. Please see the examples below to understand what cards are available.
