Learn to Play at Demo Events!

Demo Events are where you can take your first steps to becoming a Yu‑Gi‑Oh! TRADING CARD GAME Duelist! Your journey will take you through the basics of completing your first Duel! This is the perfect introduction to being part of the community! 

When: From September 2026 
Where: At our Official Tournament Stores (also known as “OTS”) 
Regions: Europe, Middle East, Africa and Oceania 

Not only will you be able to learn the game at these Demo Events, you’ll also be able to receive the following:- 

  • A Demo Deck to keep (one of two different Demo Decks) 
  • A Quick-Start Guide so you can practice at home or with friends 
  • An Activity Book
  • A Standee to keep (one of two different Standees) after completing your first Demo

The Journey Continues with Duel Academy! 

After completing a Demo, you can continue your journey through our Duel Academy program!  

Our Duel Academy Program consists of beginner-focused sessions, designed to help you learn the game at your own pace.  

When: From September 2026 
Where: At our Official Tournament Stores 
Regions: Europe, Middle East, Africa and Oceania 

What happens at Duel Academy: 

During these sessions, you will expand your Yu‑Gi‑Oh! knowledge piece-by-piece, until you complete your journey with all the skills needed to become a masterful Duelist. 

As you practice your newly learned skills and deepen your understanding of the Yu‑Gi‑Oh! TCG, you will also be able to earn exciting rewards as you progress and become a member of your local Yu‑Gi‑Oh! community. 

Whether you’re picking up your first cards or coming back to the game to refresh your skills, there’s never been a better time to join the action! 

We will add more information on participating stores to this webpage so if you don’t see a store near you, keep checking back as new stores will be added. Please find your local store and let them know you’re interested!
