Whether you’re completely new to the Yu‑Gi‑Oh! TRADING CARD GAME or looking to build confidence with the variety of game mechanics, Duel Academy is the perfect place to start. 

Duel Academy Events are  beginner-friendly events designed to help Duelists learn the fundamentals, develop your skills, and become part of the local Yu‑Gi‑Oh! community. Through guided activities, practical gameplay, and support from your store, you’ll gain the knowledge and confidence needed to take your next step as a Duelist. 

As you progress through Duel Academy, you’ll have the opportunity to earn exclusive rewards and unlock special items along the way.

What is Duel Academy?

Duel Academy is a series of introductory Yu‑Gi‑Oh! TCG events created to help new and returning players get the most from the game. 

Throughout the program, you’ll: 

  • Learn the core rules of the Yu‑Gi‑Oh! TCG 
  • Understand different card types and mechanics 
  • Improve your Dueling skills through guided activities 
  • Build confidence playing in organised events 
  • Meet other Duelists at your local Official Tournament Store 
  • Track your progress and earn rewards 

No matter where you are in your Dueling journey, Duel Academy provides a fun and supportive environment to learn and improve. 

Your Duel Academy Progression and Earning More Cards!  

Track your journey through Duel Academy using the official Progression Guide and Activity Tracker! Complete activities, learn key gameplay concepts, and mark your achievements as you advance through the Progression Guide!  

You will unlock new cards to master and learn the mechanics of the game! You can keep these cards and unlock up to 5 Progression Sets to then build a full playable Deck!
