Duelists! Yu-Gi-Oh! Open Tournament is back in Hong Kong!

Yu-Gi-Oh! Open Tournament will be held in Hong Kong this coming March, where duelists all across Asia will gather to Duel it out for a much-coveted invitation to the World Championship Qualifier Asia Finals 2026!

Apart from the invitation, there will be prize cards as well. The prize cards will feature “Effect Veiler”, with the event logo in the artwork to commemorate the event and will only be given out to top players for the event.

YOT HK 2026 OCG Event

The YOT HK 2026 OCG Event applies Master Rule, using the latest Forbidden & Limited Cards List, where only Japanese, English Edition for Asia or Traditional-Chinese cards can be used in the tournament. (World Premiere Cards excluded)

The YOT HK 2026 OCG Event will consist of a number of Swiss-style rounds, followed by a top cut playoff, as follows:

-Up to 256 Duelists: 7 rounds Swiss Format on Saturday, followed by Top 64 Tournament Format on Sunday

-Above 256 Duelists: 8 rounds Swiss Format on Saturday, followed by Top 64 Tournament Format on Sunday

Capacity: 700 people

Registration: This event will be limited to pre-registration only. There will be no on-site registration.

Preparing for the event:

Be prepared to present your Konami Card Game ID in your Yu-Gi-Oh! Neuron App, along with your name at registration. If you don’t have a Konami Card Game ID or the Yu-Gi-Oh! Neuron App, you can download it on iOS App Store or Android Google Play Store.

Deck List registration will be done at the start of the event via Neuron. Deck List must be completed with all contents of your deck (Including Main, Side and Extra Deck).

You should bring any tournament supplies you will need; paper and pen to track Life Points, dice or counters if you are using cards which require them, extra protectors to replace any that become damaged, and so forth. Calculators can only be used to calculate Life Points and recording must be done using paper and pen.

All cards in your deck (including Main, Side and Extra Deck) must use card protectors. Double layer deck protectors are allowed, provided the outer layer must be a transparent card protector (Without any designs). (Note: Duelists are only allowed to use Yu-Gi-Oh! Official card protectors or solid color card protectors without any designs)

FAQ:
Q: Do I need a ticket to access the event?
A: No, the event is open to everyone to spectate or take part in the side events!

Q: I can’t make it to the event, can a friend pickup the participation prize for me?
A: We are sorry that you are unable to make it. The participation prizes are only given out to players who are participating at the event. It will not be possible for someone else to pick it up for you.

Q: When will the participation prize be available for collection?
A: Players must participate in at least 3 rounds of each event to be eligible for the participation prize. Collection of the participation prize will be announced on site.

Q: Will I need a Deck List for the event?
A: A Deck List will be required for the OCG & English Edition for Asia Limited Event​. Deck List will not be required for the Side Event and Giant card Tournament.
