Ruling Q&A

Is it necessary to always Special Summon the first Fusion, Synchro or Xyz Monster from the Extra Deck to an Extra Monster Zone?

Is it possible for one player to use 2 Extra Monster Zones by Special Summoning Fusion, Synchro, or Xyz Monsters from the Extra Deck?
The ruling of each player being able to use only one Extra Monster Zone will not change.(When, however, Link Monsters are co-linked to make up the Extra Link, one player may be able to control both Extra Monster Zones.)
Is it possible to Special Summon another Fusion, Synchro or Xyz Monster from the Extra Deck while controlling a monster other than a Link Monster in an Extra Monster Zone?
You can still Special Summon another Fusion, Synchro or Xyz Monster from the Extra Deck to your Main Monster Zone even if you are already using an Extra Monster Zone.

If a Fusion, Synchro or Xyz Monster is Special Summoned from the Extra Deck by a method other than a Fusion, Synchro or Xyz Summon, such as the effect of “デビル・フランケン” or “スターライト・ロード”, which zone are they Special Summoned to?

If a Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, Pendulum or Link Monster is Special Summoned from the Extra Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions, which zone are they Special Summoned to?
