The Asia Championship 2018 is finally here!

Duelists from all over Asia who battled through their individual qualifiers, ranking events and Yu-Gi-Oh! Open Tournaments will be joined by the reigning champion of the Asia Championship Winter 2018 event and gather in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia this July to take part in the Asia Championship 2018.

The top two final players of the Asia Championship 2018 will then receive the coveted spots of representing Asia at the World Championship 2018!

Main Event Details

The Asia Championship 2018 Main Event details are as follows:

Date: 8 July 2018 (Sunday)

The top 4 winners of the Asia Championship 2018 will also receive this duel field as their prize!

Malaysia Qualifier Details

Before the Asia Championship 2018 Main Event, the Malaysia Qualifiers will be going on the day before on 7 July, 2018 at the same venue, where all participants will receive the World Championship 2018 card sleeves. All Malaysian players are invited to participate in the event and battle it out for the final slot to enter the Asia Championship 2018!

Time: 9.00 a.m. Onwards
Participants Limit: 200 players
Format: Swiss to Top Cut Playoffs

To enter the event venue at 9.00 a.m. for the qualifiers, use the entrance located next to 7-11 on level G and inform the staff that you are participating in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Asia Championship 2018.

Pre-registration for the Malaysia Qualifiers starts from 28 June, details as follows:

Time: Opening hours of Gamers Arena, ending on 6 July 2018 at 5pm

On-site registration on 7 July will be subject to availability.

Side Events

While the Main event is on-going on Sunday, a side event will be held for players to participate in. All participants will receive a duel field featuring the new トポロジック・ガンブラー・ドラゴン! Slots are limited for this event so make sure you come early to register for the event!

Aside from the various tournaments, there will also be mini games for the public to play and also demo areas for people interested to try out Yu-Gi-Oh! Whether you are a dueling veteran or totally new to Yu-Gi-Oh!, there’s something for everyone at the Asia Championship 2018!
