COVID-19 Restrictions for South America Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Championship

KDE-US has adopted a mandatory vaccination policy to protect the safety of its attendees.  At the venue, each attendee 15 years and older will be required to show proof of full vaccination before entry in the form of a Mobility Pass (this requirement may change depending on authorization of vaccines for the under 15 age group. We will update this FAQ as the situation evolves).  All attendees must be fully vaccinated with a vaccine approved by the government of Chile and must possess a Mobility Pass (Pase de Mobilidad) in order to access the venue. It’s important to note that even though a Mobility Pass is no longer required to enter Chile; it is required for everyone attending large public events such as the South America Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Championship. For information on how to obtain a Mobility Pass, please visit: https://s3.amazonaws.com/gobcl-prod/public_files/Campa%C3%B1as/Vacunas-para-Chile/archivos/MANUAL_MEVACUNO.CL_final.pdf

The approved Mobility Pass must state the name of the vaccinated person, the type of vaccine received, and the date of the last dose.  See an example of an approved Mobility Pass . If your Mobility Pass does not individually display all of your vaccinations, you should resubmit your proof of vaccination.

Children under the age of 15 will not be required to show a mobility pass, but instead must show documentation of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 24 hours of the event or proof of vaccination.  The test can be a PCR test or an antigen test.  Home tests will not be accepted.  The documentation must show the test result, the type of test, the entity issuing the test, and the date of test.

KDE-US will be checking for Mobility Passes and proof of negative test results for children of age 15 and below.  KDE-US reserves the right to refuse entry to attendees who do not comply with this policy.

Face Masks must be worn at all times during the event.

There will not be a dedicated food service area for eating and drinking.  Food and beverages may not be consumed in any area of the event space.

A:   Arturo Merino Benitez Airport (SCL) – Santiago, Chile

A: The best way to leave the airport is via taxi. A taxi from the airport to the venue can cost you between $16 – $20 USD. We recommend using the official taxi services; booths for these services are located after you exit customs

In both cases, they have fixed amounts which vary according to the destination. Here you can pay with credit cards or US Dollars.

Public transportation to the venue:

  • Catch a Centropuerto bus outside of the Airport. Be sure to look for the blue bus.
  • Get off at Metro Los Heroes station. At this Metro station, you can purchase a BIP card that will allow you to hop on Santiago’s metro and bus system.
