To the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME community –

As we continue to monitor developments related to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, we have closely evaluated and heeded the recommendations of government health authorities and experts. We take seriously our role in contributing to the overall health and safety of our colleagues, Tournament Store owners and staff, and the entire Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG fan base. In keeping with the most recent guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we believe it is in the best interest of our community, and the community at large, to cancel all of our Organized Play and promotional events for the next 8 weeks, through Sunday May 10. Jointly, we share a responsibility to prevent community spread of this virus by practicing social distancing and we appreciate everyone's cooperation during this time of uncertainty.

 

As circumstances evolve, we will continue to communicate with you often and will provide any new information, including updates on the status of future events, as it becomes available. Additionally, those with non-press-related inquiries regarding event cancellations and updates on future events are encouraged to contact us-opsupport@konami.com for updates. While we anticipate a higher-than-average volume of messages over these next several weeks, we will respond as quickly as we are able.

Our thoughts are with those both directly and indirectly affected by this pandemic. We also recognize that local businesses, including our Official Tournament Stores, will feel the impacts of these decisions and are grateful for their commitment to the safety of our community. We thank the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG community for their patience and understanding during this time.
