Prize structure for the European Championship reveleaed!
From the far reaches of Finland to the beaches of southern Portugal and just about every country in between, Duelists from all over Europe will come together in Birmingham, UK, for an exhilarating two days of fierce competition (July 17-18) at the World Championship Qualifier 2010: European Championships. Each player will be vying for the coveted title of European Champion and the opportunity to compete at the World Championship event in August.
Apart from the title and invitation to the World Championship, players will compete for many other cool prizes: The Top 4 finishers will receive travel and accommodations to the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG World Championship in Long Beach, California (USA), a trophy, a complete set of Gold Series 3 and Gold Series 2009, a complete set of Super Rare Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series Prize Cards, a trip to Disneyland® the day before the World Championship, a personalized hoodie sweatshirt, and electronic entertainment equipment (TBD).
In addition to those prizes, top finishers will receive the following:
- 1st Place: An additional Dark End Dragon card.
- 5th – 8th Place: Trophy and 24 packs of The Shining Darkness.
- 9th – 16th Place: 24 packs of The Shining Darkness.
- Top 32: Dark End Dragon card.
- Top 64: Exclusive Top Cut Game Mat.
Additionally, all main event participants will receive a pack of World Championship Qualifier 2010 Card Sleeves* and a World Championship Qualifier 2010 Game Mat*.
For players in the public events (see other announcement), there will also be a special treat: Many of those public events will already feature the newest KDE tournament participation prize, Turbo Pack 3, before it will be available in local tournament stores around Europe.
