Outstanding Regionals and Nationals Playmats
Dear Duelists,
today we want to give you news on the playmats which some of you are still due from this year’s Regional / Grand Qualifiers. We know you have been waiting for these mats for a while now, and we will need to ask for a little more of your patience, but as said before: We intend to fulfill the promise that was made to you.
To be able do so, we need to ask you for the following:
If you made the Tops at one or more of the Regional / Grand Qualifiers this year and were promised a playmat, and haven’t already contacted us about it, please do so no later than August 20, 2009 by sending an email to yugioh@konami-europe.net. If you have already emailed us about it, please don’t resend the mail; we expect quite a large number of submissions as is already.
Our ticketing system will generate an auto-reply showing you that the mail has arrived; please understand that we cannot respond individually to these mails in addition to that.
The email should say: “2009 Regionals Playmat” in the Subject line, and contain your full name and address, as well as the Date and location of the tournament/s in which you would have won the playmat/s.
We will collect and verify all these claims, and produce the appropriate number of mats after the deadline has expired, and expect to be able to ship these to you by end of September. We’re sorry for this additional waiting time, but we want to make sure we have the right number of mats for all of you who have contacted us.
Also, please understand that only emails reaching us in time for the deadline can be considered, so if you know of anyone else due a playmat, please let them know and ask them to contact us in time.
Regarding the Nationals Playmats
In a related matter: Some of you are also still due a (different) playmat, and possibly a prize card, from this year’s Nationals. These we have already, and those of you who picked their mat up at the European Championship will know it shows DARK END DRAGON, same as the card for the National champions.
If you haven’t already picked up your mat at the European Championships, please also send a mail to yugioh@konami-europe.net (Subject: “2009 Nationals Playmats”) with your name and address, and the place you finished in your country’s Nationals.
There is no strict deadline for these emails, but the sooner you send them, the sooner we can send you the mats.
Those of you who did not win a mat in this year’s qualifiers or Nationals can be sure that we’ll be giving you more occasions to win some at Sneak Peeks and other tournaments to come.
