UPDATE: We have put together a document with all details and updates regarding this event, which you can download here.

Dear Duelists,

today, we want to bring you the anxiously awaited news on the Australian Yu-Gi-Oh! Nationals: On the last weekend of June, the best Australian Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelists will face each other over two days, to find out who will represent Australia at this year's World Championship in Japan.

All qualified players are invited to take this chance at the title of Australian National Champion, a paid trip to the Worlds in Tokyo and the other prizes we'll be awarding to the best Duelists. At the samt time, Duelists of 12 and younger will compete with the strongest competition in their age group, at the Australian Dragon Duel Championship.

This tournament will take place at the Supanova Pop Culture Expo, at The Dome in Olympic Park, Homebush NSW. While only players who qualified for this event through one of the Regionals or Dragon Duel Regionals are eligible to play in the tournament, visitors and side event players are very welcome as well.

Registration will start at 8:00 on Saturday, and close at 09:30 for the main event, which starts at 10. Registration for the Dragon Duel event is from 09:00 to 10:00, with the tournament starting at 10:30. Players who don't make it to Day 2 will be awarded their prizes at the end of Saturday's rounds, and are welcome to play side events on Sunday.

We will post more detailed information on the Australian Championship, and a full list of qualified players, on www.yugioh-card.com (click on the Australian flag) shortly.

Meanwhile, if you have questions regarding the event, or are unsure if you're qualified, please contact Ikon Collectables, who will be running this event on Konami's behalf: Glenn Howard [glenn@ikoncollectables.com.au]
