Day 1 is over, and after nine rounds of competition just sixteen Duelists remain! Blackwings, Lightsworn, Synchro Cat, and Gladiator Beasts each took spots in Day 2, but the real story is the rise of Black Salvo Decks. After some big Regional Qualifier showings, this Deck failed to make a big impression at the U.S. National Championship, but now three Duelists have taken it all the way to the Top 16 this weekend!
Tomorrow we’ll see top Duelists Duel it out in four single elimination rounds. At the end of the day only one Duelist will be left standing, and he’ll claim a bunch of cool prizes, including a “Dark End Dragon” prize card, and most important of all – the glory of a SHONEN JUMP Championship title.
