TRADING CARD GAME (TCG) World Champion or 2016 Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME Dragon Duel World Champion, for those born 2003 or later, at the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME World Championship.

In this year’s Championship, 34 expert Duelists (22 in the World Championship and 12 in the Dragon Duel World Championship) will vie for the chance to hoist the Champion’s trophy high. Six players from North America, three players from Latin America (including the defending Dragon Duel World Champion), five players from Japan (including the defending World Champion), six from Europe and Oceania, and two from Asia have set their sights on winning the World Championship title.  Three players from North America, two players from Latin America, two players from Japan, three from Europe and Oceania, and two from other Asian countries will battle for the title of Dragon Duel World Champion. These elite players competed at their National or World Championship Qualifiers (WCQ) and have earned the right to represent their region in Orlando. Each one believes that they have the unbeatable combination of cards and strategy to beat their opponents for the long sought-after World Champion title.
