Q: Where is the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2010?
A: Long Beach Convention Center
300 East Ocean Blvd
Long Beach, CA 90802
www.longbeachcc.com
Q: Can I participate in the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2010?
A: Only Duelists who earned an invitation through their World Championship Qualifier, National or Continental Championship 2010 may participate in the World Championship 2010. Public Events are open and free to anyone.
Q: Will I be able to watch the World Championship 2010?
A: We will have video screens in the tournament hall that will be streaming live feeds of matches.
Q: If I’ve never been to the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2010, what should I expect?
A: Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2010 is the biggest of all Yu-Gi-Oh! tournaments, and attracts Duelists of all ages and skill levels. Many Duelists travel great distances to attend the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2010, so you can expect to meet hundreds of fellow Yu-Gi-Oh! fans from all over.
Q: I will be bringing my children to the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2010. Is there anything I should know?
A: We will have a Parents’ Area available, where parents can relax while their children are occupied in the myriad of available activities. This area is open only to parents and their children. You are not required to stay on site, but we strongly recommend that you do, especially if your children are young or if this is their first event. Please know that the event staff cannot be responsible for looking after your children, or their possessions. Always make sure your child has a way to contact you, and is provided with any necessities such as food, drink, or extra money if you do not wish to remain in the tournament area.
When your child is preparing for the event, encourage him or her to leave any bulky or expensive possessions at home. Electronics and large collections of cards are hard to keep track of during a big tournament – your child will have a much easier day without having to worry about these kinds of items.
Trading cards is a big attraction at large events, but if you are concerned about your child trading away valuable cards, talk to him or her before the event and set some guidelines. You can always have your child check with you before making a trade.
Q: Who should I contact if I have questions about the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2010?
A: e-mail: us-opsupport@konami.com
Q: What is happening in each room?
A: • Room 103: Yu-Gi-Oh! 3D Movie Sneak Preview & Anime viewing rooms.
• Room 104: King of the Hill, Create a Token, Retail Store, Video Games, Parents’ Area, Redemption.
